Technic

TVT-O In-Out

Insertion of an urinary catheter.
Suburethral vaginal incision.

TVT-O In-Out

Scissors dissection down to the ischiopubic ramus on each side.

TVT-O In-Out

Introduce the guide down to the ischiopubic ramus.
Introduce the needle from inside to outside, traction thread inserted on the eye (IN-OUT).

Skin incision opposite needle’s tip and recovery of the traction thread.
Placement of the protective tube near the vaginal incision.

Identical procedure on the opposite side.
Insertion of the sling through the obturator foramen.

Tensionning of the sling in contact with the uretra, urinary catheter still in place.

A good adjustment should allow the scissors tip passage between sling and urethra.

Sling arms section at the incision flush.
Vagina and skin incisions closure by suturing.

Insertion of an urinary catheter.
